Orfea Brynne is beginning her first year at Weyward Academy, a boarding school where young Wyrd Hunters learn all about monsters and the magic used to manage them. But Orfea would rather be camping under the stars with her dad, fighting real werewolves and vampire instead of reading about them in class.
Weyward has its secrets, though. The teachers include sirens, dryads and fauns. Rebellious orphans and half-faerie foundlings have made the school their home. And when supernatural creatures suddenly start terrorising lessons, Orfea realises that Weyward Academy is an adventure of its own.
Together with unlikely allies, Orfea must solve the mystery behind the nightmarish attacks ...
